Abhijeet Das Appointed as Purchase Manager at Marriott International

Marriott International, Shillong, has welcomed Abhijeet Das as its new Purchase Manager. Abhijeet brings extensive experience in procurement and materials management from some of the most renowned brands in the hospitality industry.  

Before joining Marriott International, Abhijeet served as Assistant Manager Purchase at Accor in Guwahati, where he played a pivotal role in optimizing procurement processes and managing vendor relationships. His expertise in materials management was further honed during his tenure as Materials Supervisor at Taj Hotels, Guwahati.  

Abhijeet's professional journey began at Radisson Blu Guwahati, where he progressed through multiple roles, starting as a Store Associate and advancing to Purchase Assistant, Materials Supervisor, and eventually Material Executive. These roles equipped him with a deep understanding of supply chain management, inventory control, and cost optimization strategies in the hospitality sector.  

An alumnus of Arya Vidyapeeth College with a Bachelor of Arts degree, Abhijeet combines academic rigor with hands-on industry experience to deliver results-driven procurement solutions.  

In his role as Purchase Manager at Marriott International, Shillong, Abhijeet Das is set to streamline procurement operations, ensure quality compliance, and contribute to the property’s commitment to excellence. His appointment highlights Marriott’s dedication to strengthening its supply chain capabilities and maintaining superior service standards.
