Abhissek Basu Joins as Hotel Manager at The Leela Ambience Convention Hotel

Abhissek Basu has recently taken on the role of Hotel Manager at The Leela Ambience Convention Hotel, Delhi. In this new position, he will be responsible for managing the overall operations of the hotel, ensuring a seamless guest experience, and driving revenue growth through strategic planning and excellent service standards.

Abhissek brings extensive experience in hotel management to this role. Prior to his current appointment, he spent over six years with The Leela Palaces, Hotels, and Resorts, where he held various senior roles. His journey with The Leela began as a Corporate Management Trainee at The Leela, Mumbai, where he gained experience in all functional areas of hotel operations. 

He later became Assistant Manager of In-Room Dining and Minibar, managing operations across 420 rooms and the Club Lounge. Abhissek then served as the Manager of JAMAVAR, the Indian fine dining restaurant at The Leela, Mumbai, where he contributed to the restaurant being rated among the top ten in the world by Forbes magazine and winning the Wine Spectator award for one of the best wine lists. Following this, he was promoted to Banquet Manager at The Leela, Mumbai, where he led the banquet operations across a ballroom, multiple meeting rooms, and an outdoor venue.

Abhissek holds a degree in Hotel Management from the Institute of Hotel Management, Catering Technology & Applied Nutrition, and has further educational experience from St. Xavier's College.

With a proven track record of excellence in hospitality management and a commitment to service, Abhissek is poised to lead The Leela Ambience Convention Hotel, Delhi to continued success.
