Akshay Naik has recently joined Aurika Hotels & Resorts as a Sous Chef, bringing with him a wealth of experience in culinary arts from both domestic and international platforms.


Before his current role, Akshay served as a Senior Sous Chef at ETM Group London, where he honed his skills in a fast-paced environment. His time in London not only enhanced his culinary techniques but also provided him with a deep understanding of international cuisine and high standards of hospitality.


Akshay’s career has seen him work in several prestigious establishments. He was a Sous Chef with Compass Group in India, where he was responsible for overseeing kitchen operations and ensuring the quality of food served. His experience as Chef De Partie at Courtyard by Marriott, Mumbai, and The Irish House further refined his expertise in Indian and international cuisines.


Prior to this, Akshay held the role of Executive Chef at Spice End in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, where he led the kitchen team and curated unique dining experiences. He also served as Head Chef at Indeblue, Philadelphia, contributing to the restaurant's reputation for excellence.


His earlier roles include working as a Demi Chef de Partie at Carnival Cruise Line, and Chef positions at Grand Hyatt Mumbai and Travel Food Services Pvt. Ltd. His journey from Commis Chef to Sous Chef showcases his dedication to the culinary arts.
