Aniket Gupta has stepped into the role of Chief Operating Officer (COO) at Hotel Ichchha, bringing with him a wealth of international hospitality experience and a remarkable career spanning culinary, operational, and strategic leadership. With a strong foundation in both kitchen operations and hotel management, Aniket’s appointment signals a promising phase of growth and innovation for the property.
Aniket also continues to serve as Co-Owner of Abhishek Resort & Spa in Bihar, demonstrating his entrepreneurial spirit and hands-on leadership in the regional hospitality space. His ability to blend ownership insight with operational excellence makes him uniquely positioned to steer Hotel Ichchha toward enhanced guest satisfaction and operational efficiency.
Previously, he led pre-opening efforts as General Manager for Royal Orchid Hotels, Nepal, and served as Cluster Hotel Manager at Aleph Hospitality, Dubai, showcasing his strength in regional and international hotel management. His tenure as Executive Assistant Manager at Hotel Yak & Yeti, Kathmandu, further reflects his cross-border operational expertise.
Aniket has also held strategic leadership roles in Africa, where he was Group Head of Food & Beverage Operations and earlier Group Executive Chef at Ashnil Hotels, Kenya. He has worked as a Hospitality Consultant, leveraging his knowledge to guide operations and development for various properties.
With a rich background in culinary arts, Aniket previously held the dual position of Executive Chef & F&B Operations Head at PrideInn Hotels and Conferencing, Kenya. His hospitality journey began with Marriott International, where he progressed from Management Trainee to Sous Chef, gaining valuable experience across Pune, Gurugram, Ahmedabad, and Kochi.
Early in his career, Aniket also trained with Taj Hotels, Ahmedabad, and started his professional path with Haldiram Foods International Ltd., New Delhi, as a Counter Waiter.
Academically, Aniket holds a Bachelor’s degree in Hotel Management and a Postgraduate Diploma in Culinary Arts from the Institute of Hotel Management, building a strong academic foundation to complement his hands-on expertise. He completed his early education at K. R. High School, Bettiah.
