Anirudhya Basu has been appointed as the Multi-Property Director of Food & Beverage at Hyderabad Marriott Hotel & Convention Centre and Courtyard by Marriott. In this prominent role, Anirudhya will oversee all food and beverage operations, ensuring that guests experience the highest standards of service and culinary excellence across both properties.
Anirudhya brings a wealth of experience to his new position. Prior to this, he served as Brand Manager at AA Hospitality in Bengaluru, where he was responsible for developing and implementing brand strategies to enhance the company’s market presence.
His journey in the hospitality industry includes a significant tenure with Hilton Hotels & Resorts, where he held several key positions. As Director of Food & Beverage in Jaipur, and earlier as Assistant Director of Food & Beverage in Panaji, Anirudhya demonstrated his ability to manage large teams and deliver exceptional guest experiences.
Anirudhya also served as Food & Beverage Manager at The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company in Bengaluru, where he was instrumental in elevating the hotel’s dining experiences to a luxury standard. His leadership skills were further honed during his time at Hilton Hotels & Resorts in Bengaluru, where he progressed from Assistant Food & Beverage Manager to Food & Beverage Manager, and before that, from Conference & Event Sales Manager.
Earlier in his career, Anirudhya held various roles at Taj Hotels Resorts and Palaces. Starting as Assistant Bar Manager in Hyderabad, he quickly moved up the ranks to become Assistant Restaurant Manager, then Restaurant Manager, and finally Banquet Operation Manager in Bengaluru. His time at Taj provided him with a solid foundation in food and beverage operations, which has been critical to his subsequent success.
