Ashish Verma, a seasoned culinary professional, has recently taken up the role of Executive Sous Chef at 1000 Island Hotels & Resort Pvt. Ltd. in Gir Somnath, Gujarat. With a rich history of culinary excellence and a passion for bringing authentic flavors to life, Ashish is poised to elevate the dining experience at the prestigious resort.


Ashish's culinary journey is marked by significant achievements and diverse experiences. Prior to his current position, he has been the Executive Chef and Consultant Chef at Soho Gastronomy, Indian Corridors. Here, he has been dedicated to showcasing the rich and diverse culinary landscape of India, reflecting his journey through various regions of the country.


His experience as a Demi Chef de Partie with Virgin Voyages further honed his skills in creating culinary masterpieces and ensuring the highest standards of quality and taste. Ashish's role involved meticulous organization, precise execution of cooking techniques, and a commitment to delivering unparalleled dining experiences to guests.


At Opentap Restaurant Pub & Breweries, where he served as Sr. Chef De Partie, Ashish demonstrated his expertise in food handling, menu preparation, and kitchen management. His responsibilities included overseeing food production, maintaining quality standards, and providing training and development opportunities for kitchen staff.


Ashish's career also includes stints as a Demi Chef de Partie at 56 Ristorante Italiano, an Assistant Chef with Carnival Cruise Line, and a Line Chef at Caffe Tonino. Each role contributed to his broad skill set, including food safety, culinary arts, and menu development.


In addition to his extensive experience, Ashish's skills encompass team building, menu engineering, catering, and food and beverage operations.
