The Caesar salad is often believed to have been created by Julius Caesar, but actually, it was invented in the early 1920s by Caesar Cardini, an Italian chef who owned a restaurant in Tijuana, Mexico.

 

Ingredients:

- Cleaned Romaine Lettuce: 60 grams

- Caesar Dressing: 40 grams

- Bread Croutons: 4 pieces

- Parmesan: 4 slices (for shaving)

- Crispy Bacon: 3 slices

 

Method:

1. Prepare cleaned and dry romaine lettuce in a mixing bowl. Marinate the lettuce with Caesar dressing, salt, and pepper.

2. Arrange the lettuce on the serving plate. Garnish with tossed bread croutons, crispy bacon, Parmesan shavings, and freshly ground pepper.
