Debananda Sarkar has taken charge as the Executive Chef at Royal Orchid Hotels, Nagpur, bringing with him a rich and diverse culinary background. With years of experience across reputed hospitality brands, Debananda has demonstrated a strong command over menu innovation, kitchen leadership, and team coordination.


Prior to his current role, he held the position of Executive Chef at Ramada by Wyndham Darjeeling and Royal Orchid Hotels, Ahmedabad, where he was instrumental in enhancing culinary standards and delivering exceptional dining experiences. His experience in pre-opening projects is notable, including his tenure as Executive Chef at Sarovar Hotels & Resorts, Faridabad, where he successfully set up and led the culinary team from scratch.


Debananda also served as Head Chef at City Pulse Media (India) Limited, Gandhinagar, where he curated diverse menus and managed large-scale kitchen operations. His foundational experience includes roles as CDP at Holiday Village Resorts & Spa, Gandhidham, and earlier with Cambay Hotels & Resorts, Ahmedabad as Demi Chef De Partie and later CDP.


He showcased strong leadership at Heritage Khirasara Palace, Rajkot, where he served both as Sous Chef and Executive Chef, refining his expertise in heritage and regional cuisine.


Debananda is an alumnus of Sree Chaitanya College, Habra, where he completed his B.A. in Art Studies, which reflects his creative approach to the culinary arts.


With this new chapter at Royal Orchid Hotels, Nagpur, Chef Debananda Sarkar is set to continue delighting guests with innovative flavors, refined techniques, and a deep passion for culinary excellence.
