Gaurav Bhatte has been appointed as the Food and Beverage Manager (Pre Opening) at Marriott International, marking an exciting new chapter in his career within the hospitality industry. This role is a testament to Gaurav's considerable expertise and extensive experience in food and beverage management, honed over years of dedicated service in various esteemed establishments.
Gaurav’s career trajectory in hospitality is characterized by progressive responsibility and a passion for exceptional service. Most recently, he served as the Food and Beverage Manager at Skylark Hospitality in London, where he was instrumental in curating delightful dining experiences and enhancing guest satisfaction. His time there built on his previous roles within the Marriott International family, where he first made his mark as the Assistant Food and Beverage Manager in Mumbai, following his tenure as the Beverage & Night Club Manager.
Before stepping into managerial roles, Gaurav showcased his abilities as a Project Manager at Marriott International in Mumbai, where he contributed significantly to various successful initiatives aimed at improving operational efficiency and service quality. His prior experience also includes serving as the Assistant Banquet Manager and the Assistant Bar Manager (LDP) at Fairmont Hotels & Resorts in the United Kingdom, where he demonstrated his skill in managing high-pressure environments while ensuring the utmost guest satisfaction.
Gaurav began his journey in hospitality as a Food & Beverage Executive, having previously served as a Food & Beverage Associate at Marriott Hotels in the UK. This foundational experience provided him with broad industry insights and hands-on training that would later serve as the bedrock of his career. Earlier in his career, he was a Hotel Operational Trainee Supervisor at Westin Hotels & Resorts in Mumbai and completed an invaluable internship at Le Meridien Hotels & Resorts in Mumbai, where he gained practical knowledge and insights into the operational aspects of hotel management.
In terms of education, Gaurav holds a Master’s degree in Hospitality Administration/Management, as well as an MSc in International Hospitality and Tourism Management from Bournemouth University. He also earned a BSc in Hotel & Tourism Management from Rizvi College of Hotel Management, alongside foundational studies at Thakur College of Science and Commerce.
