Healthy Green Moong Dal Oats Tikki - By Chef Parvendhen

Ingredients:

- Whole Green Moong, soaked and boiled: 1 ½ cups

- Oats Powder: ½ cup

- Medium Potato, boiled, peeled, and grated: 1 no.

- Medium Onion, finely chopped: 1 no.

- Red Chilli Powder: 1 tsp

- Jeera Powder: 1 pinch

- Salt: To taste

- Chaat Masala: ½ tsp

- Finely chopped Green Chillies: 2 nos.

- Chopped Fresh Coriander: 2 tsp

- Oil: For shallow frying

- Sweet Chilli Sauce: To serve

- Green Chutney: To serve


Instructions:

1. Take green moong in a bowl and mash it completely with a masher.

2. Add oats powder, potato, onion, red chilli powder, cumin powder, salt, and chaat masala. Mix well.

3. Add green chillies and coriander to the mixture. Mix well.

4. Shape the mixture into tikkis.

5. Heat oil in a non-stick pan.

6. Add the tikkis and shallow fry until golden brown on both sides.

7. Sprinkle chaat masala and red chilli powder on top.

8. Garnish with cashews.

9. Serve hot with sweet chilli sauce and green chutney.
