Mahesh Kumar has been appointed as the Executive Chef at Best Western Hotels & Resorts, Amritsar. With an extensive career in the culinary industry, Mahesh brings a rich blend of expertise in menu development, team leadership, and delivering exceptional dining experiences.  


Mahesh’s culinary journey is marked by a series of prestigious roles across renowned hospitality brands. His career began with Taj Hotels, where he honed his skills as an Assistant Chef before progressing to Chef De Partie. His dedication and passion for innovation in the kitchen led him to take on the role of Sous Chef at Marriott Hotels, Punjab, where he showcased his ability to manage high-pressure culinary operations effectively.  


Later, Mahesh served as Executive Sous Chef at Lemon Tree Hotels, further establishing his reputation for operational excellence and creativity in cuisine. His leadership as Executive Chef at Fortune Park Hotels Ltd. was pivotal in elevating the brand’s culinary offerings and maintaining high standards of service.


Mahesh holds a Diploma in Hotel Management from ICCMOC Chennai, which laid the foundation for his successful career. His academic background, coupled with his extensive practical experience, positions him as a leader in culinary innovation and operational management.  


In his new role as Executive Chef at Best Western Hotels & Resorts, Amritsar, Mahesh will oversee the culinary operations, focusing on enhancing guest satisfaction through curated dining experiences and innovative menu designs.
