Mahesh Muthuswamy is a distinguished professional in the culinary field, known for his expertise and creativity. Before joining Hotel Vivek, he served as a freelance chef across Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Andhra Pradesh, and Karnataka, collaborating with various brands that specialize in combi ovens. His work has been marked by a commitment to quality and excellence, making him a respected figure in the industry.


In addition to his freelance career, Mahesh has held significant positions in various prestigious establishments. He was the Head Chef for Bakery & Confectionery at Dr. MGR University in Chennai, where he played a crucial role in developing unique culinary offerings. His tenure as Executive Chef at Al Bayan Foods LLC in Dubai saw him overseeing food quality and culinary operations, further enhancing his reputation for maintaining the highest standards in food production and service.


Mahesh has also demonstrated his leadership abilities as a Senior Operations Manager at Crumbs & Cakes Pvt Ltd in Chennai, where he managed comprehensive kitchen operations and quality assurance processes. His previous experience includes serving as Head Chef for Bakery & Confectionery at Tuscana & Kryptos Restaurant Pvt Ltd, a Sous Chef at Sky Gourmet in Chennai, and a Chef de Partie at Oberoi Flight Service. He began his professional journey as a Patissier at Carnival Cruise Line and a Commis II at Le Royal Meridian Chennai, steadily building his expertise over the years.


Mahesh completed his education at Good Shepherd Matriculation Higher Secondary School in Nagercoil, Kanyakumari District, and pursued his passion for the culinary arts at Canan School of Catering and Hotel Management in Chennai. His broad experience and dedication to the culinary industry have established him as a versatile and dynamic leader.


As Corporate Chef, Mahesh Muthuswamy will be responsible for enhancing the dining experiences at Hotel Vivek through innovative menus, culinary excellence, and a commitment to quality.
