Long Boat Brewing Co is excited to announce the appointment of Mahesh Ramasamy as the new Corporate Executive Chef. With an illustrious career spanning multiple leadership roles in the culinary world, Mahesh brings a wealth of experience and creativity to the team at Long Boat Brewing Co in Bengaluru East.


Mahesh has a diverse and impressive background in the hospitality industry, having previously served as the R&D Chef at Angsana Oasis Spa and Resort in Bengaluru, where he specialized in developing innovative and unique culinary concepts. Before that, he was the Cluster Chef at MGM Beach Resort, where he successfully managed the culinary operations across multiple properties.


His career also includes a role as Operations Manager at Ganga Group of Hotels & Sweets in Greater Chennai, overseeing day-to-day operations, ensuring quality service, and enhancing guest satisfaction. Prior to this, Mahesh held various executive positions, including Executive Chef at Fortune Select Trinity, Bengaluru, and Tamara Resorts, Coorg, and Senior Executive Chef at Kanva Group of Hotels. His leadership and commitment to culinary excellence have been instrumental in raising the standards of these establishments.


Mahesh also served as the Executive Chef and earlier as Executive Sous Chef at Hotel Clarion-Chennai, where he was pivotal in elevating the dining experience and driving culinary innovations. In addition to his extensive experience in hotel kitchens, Mahesh contributed to the academic side of the industry as the Head of the Hotel Management Department at AJK College, Coimbatore, where he shared his expertise and knowledge with aspiring chefs.


His international experience includes working as a Sous Chef in Genova, Italy, and serving with Festival Cruise Lines in Athens, Greece. Mahesh began his culinary journey as a Commi Chef at Hotel Abu Palace in Chennai and gained valuable foundational experience during his training at Hotel Park Sheraton & Towers in Chennai.


Mahesh's educational credentials include a Bachelor’s degree in Hotel Management (BHM, CS&HM) from S.N.R. Son’s College. He completed his higher secondary education at Gill Adarsh and attended J.R. Cambridge in Salem.
