Ingredients:
- Cut into 2-inch by 2-inch
slices of 2 cm thickness Paneer (Cottage Cheese) – 100 g
- Papad (Any Flavor) - 10
pieces
- Corn Flour - 2-4 tsp
- Refined Flour - 2-4 tsp
- Water
- Refined Oil
- Chaat Masala - 1 tsp
- Red Chilli Powder - 1 tsp
- Salt - to taste
- Lemon juice
- Ginger, Garlic, and Green
Chilli Paste
- Chopped Coriander, Green
Chilli, Garlic
How to Make Paneer Papdi:
1. Crush roasted papad with hands into
random-sized bits, not more than a cm long approximately.
2. Make a thin paste of refined flour
and corn flour with water. Add chopped coriander, green chili, garlic, chat
masala, lemon juice, red chili powder, and ginger, garlic, and green chili
paste to it. Mix well.
3. Heat oil in a pan for frying.
4. Put paneer slices into the batter one
at a time such that all sides of paneer are covered with a thin layer of the
batter.
5. Now, roll paneer slice into the papad
bits. Make sure that it is completely covered with a thick layer of papad bits.
6. Deep fry until golden brown.
7. Serve hot with Dhaniya-Pudina
