Paumuanlal previously served as Senior Sous Chef at JW Marriott New Delhi and PVR Limited in Gurugram, where he honed his skills in managing high-pressure kitchen environments while ensuring the delivery of exceptional cuisine. His leadership capabilities and culinary artistry have earned him recognition in the industry.


As the owner of Neklim in Manipur, Paumuanlal has demonstrated his entrepreneurial spirit and passion for showcasing local flavors and culinary traditions, enriching the dining scene in his region. His expertise as Chef De Partie at The Oberoi Hotels and Resorts in both New Delhi and Gurugram further solidified his reputation as a talented chef committed to excellence.


Paumuanlal also gained valuable experience at Accor in New Delhi, where he progressed from Culinary Art Patron IV (Junior Sous Chef) to Culinary Designer Associate (Sous Chef), showcasing his adaptability and creativity in the kitchen.


He is a proud alumnus of Rayburn College and Young Learners' School, where his passion for culinary arts began to flourish.
