Samir Kumar Haldar Appointed as General Manager at Sarovar Hotels & Resorts

Samir Kumar Haldar has taken on the role of General Manager at Sarovar Hotels & Resorts, Sindhudurg. With a comprehensive background in hospitality management, Samir is set to lead the operations and elevate guest experiences at this prestigious property.

Before this appointment, Samir held the position of Executive Assistant Manager (EAM) Food and Beverage, bringing his extensive food and beverage management experience to the forefront. His earlier roles include Food and Beverage Manager at several well-known properties such as The O Hotel, Pune; The Dukes Retreat; and Absolute Hotel Services, Mumbai. His expertise in managing large-scale food and beverage operations played a key role in his success in these positions.

Samir also served as a Banquet Manager at Hilton Worldwide, Pune, where he managed banquet operations for high-profile events, contributing to the venue's reputation for excellence. His earlier career includes roles such as Restaurant Operation Manager at Sun-N-Sand Hotels Pvt. Ltd., Nagpur, and Assistant Manager at ITC Hotels, where he honed his leadership skills in hospitality management.

Samir's international experience includes working as a Management Trainee at Ramada San Francisco, California, and as a Barman at JA Resorts & Hotels, Dubai, and The Orchid, Mumbai, which gave him a well-rounded understanding of global hospitality standards.

He holds an MBA in Marketing Management from Sikkim Manipal Institute of Technology, a BBA in Management from Alagappa University, and completed a Management Trainee program in hotel and motel administration from CICD Washington DC. Samir also has foundational hospitality education from IIHM Jamshedpur.
