Shamik Mondal has recently been promoted to Associate Director at Ola Foods, a testament to his extensive experience and expertise in the culinary and food service industry. Prior to this role, Shamik served as the Senior Manager of Culinary, Commercial, and Operations at Ola Foods, where he played a key role in driving culinary innovation and operational excellence.
Before his tenure at Ola Foods, Shamik held significant positions at McCormick & Company, where he first served as the Executive Chef of Research and Development and later as the Culinary Development Chef. His work there focused on creating new flavors and products, contributing to the company’s growth in the competitive food industry.
Earlier in his career, Shamik was the Corporate Chef R&D at Bush Foods Overseas Pvt. Ltd., where he managed research and development initiatives for a variety of food products. His international experience includes serving as a Chef at Costa Crociere and at Strand Palace Hotel in London, where he honed his culinary skills on a global stage. Additionally, he worked as a Chef De Partie at HTC Spice Trail Catering Services Pvt. Ltd. in New Delhi, further solidifying his expertise in the culinary field.
Shamik holds an Advanced Diploma in Culinary Arts from the City & Guilds of London Art School, specializing in culinary science and culinology. He also earned a Bachelor's degree in Commerce from Delhi University and a Diploma in Hotel Management with a focus on culinary science and culinology from the Institute of Hotel Management.
