Umesh Joshi has been promoted to the role of Demi Chef De Partie at Sun Siyam Olhuveli in the Maldives, reflecting his dedication and skill in the culinary arts. In his previous role as Commis Chef, Umesh demonstrated exceptional talent and commitment, which led to this well-deserved advancement.


Umesh’s culinary journey began as Commi 1st at Renaissance Hotels in Ahmedabad, where he specialized in Indian curry preparations, showcasing his expertise in traditional and regional cuisines. His career further progressed with positions as Commi 2 at Hilton and Commi 3rd at Ramada by Wyndham, where he gained valuable experience across various culinary environments.


He holds a Bachelor of Arts from Kumaun University, Nainital, and a diploma from the Culinary College of Hotel Management & Catering. This blend of formal education and hands-on experience has equipped Umesh with a strong foundation in both culinary skills and hotel management.
