Mahindra Holidays & Resorts India Limited is pleased to announce the appointment of Ajay Varma as Executive Chef at their Kumbhalgarh property. With an impressive track record and a wealth of experience across various prestigious hotels and resorts, Ajay brings exceptional culinary expertise to his new role.


Ajay’s career in the culinary arts is distinguished by his extensive experience in both executive and sous chef positions. Before joining Mahindra Holidays & Resorts India Limited, he held the role of Executive Chef at a diverse range of establishments including Devka Beach Resort Pvt. Ltd. in Daman and Diu, Radisson, Ramada Plaza by Wyndham Pune Hinjewadi, and Best Western Plus Narsapura. His expertise also extends to The Green Wood Hotel Tezpur, Amanvana Spa Resort Coorg, and Amantra Group of Hotels in Udaipur.


Ajay's earlier roles as Executive Sous Chef include positions at Noor Mahal Hotels Pvt. Limited in Karnal and Shourya Collection Hotels & Resorts in Udaipur. He also served as Chef De Partie at Taj Hotels in Udaipur and began his career as Commi 1 at Golden Tulip Hotels, Suites & Resorts in Udaipur.


He holds a formal education in Hotel/Motel Administration/Management from the Imperial Institute Delhi and has furthered his expertise through training at the College of Home Science, Pusa.
