Akshay's illustrious journey in the culinary world began with foundational internships at esteemed properties like Wildflower Hall, an Oberoi property, and Vatel All Suite in Nîmes, France. Early roles such as Kitchen Management Trainee and Culinary Executive Trainee at IHHR Hospitality further honed his skills in kitchen operations and food artistry.
His professional trajectory expanded internationally with significant positions like Chef de Partie at Sawridge Group of Companies in Canada and Pullman Gurugram Central Park. He also served as a Demi Chef De Partie aboard Oceania Cruises on the European route, showcasing his adaptability in diverse culinary settings. Akshay’s global exposure was enriched through his training at the world-renowned Noma Restaurant, where he imbibed innovative techniques and a commitment to excellence.
Notable domestic milestones in his career include leadership roles such as Executive Sous Chef at ITC Hotels in New Delhi and Head Chef at Andaz Delhi, a Concept by Hyatt, where he also helmed Ristorante Cosa Nostra. His tenure as Corporate Chef at Eastmancolour and Executive Chef for Whisky Samba further solidified his reputation as a culinary innovator.
