Prior to joining Marriott International, Akshay served as a Demi Chef De Partie, where he honed his culinary skills and demonstrated his ability to excel in a demanding kitchen environment. His experience includes positions at reputable establishments such as Radisson Hotel Group and Accor, where he worked as a Commi 1, gaining valuable experience in food preparation and kitchen operations.


Akshay's culinary journey began at DoubleTree by Hilton Pune - Chinchwad, where he started as a commi chef and showcased his talent and dedication to delivering exceptional dishes. He further enhanced his skills through an internship at Crowne Plaza Pune City Centre, where he gained practical experience in a professional kitchen setting.


Education wise, Akshay holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree from Maharaja Agrasen Himalayan Garhwal University. While his academic background is in business administration, his passion for hospitality and culinary arts has been evident throughout his career.
