Before her current promotion, Alka served as the General Manager at Stone Wood Hotels and Resorts, where she was instrumental in overseeing operations, enhancing guest experiences, and driving strategic initiatives. Her effective management and innovative approach have been pivotal in elevating the brand's presence and reputation.

Prior to her tenure at Stone Wood Hotels and Resorts, Alka held significant roles in the education sector. As the GM of Admissions & Marketing at Delhi Public School and Kasiga School Dehradun, she played a key role in shaping the marketing strategies and admissions processes, contributing to the growth and success of these institutions. Her expertise in marketing and student recruitment was integral in attracting and retaining talented students.

Alka's extensive experience in the hospitality industry includes her role as Resident Manager at Wyndham Hotels & Resorts, where she demonstrated exceptional leadership in managing hotel operations and ensuring high standards of service. Additionally, she served as Room Division Manager at Radisson Blu in Mumbai, Karma Resorts in North Goa, and The Ummed in Jodhpur. In these roles, Alka was responsible for managing the front office, housekeeping, and guest services, ensuring seamless operations and outstanding guest satisfaction.

Her career began in the Room Division at Intercontinental Park Royal in New Delhi, where she gained valuable insights and skills in hospitality management. She then advanced to the position of Assistant Manager at The Surya in New Delhi, where she continued to excel and develop her leadership capabilities.

Alka holds a Bachelor's degree in Art/Art Studies, General from Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar University in Agra. Her academic background, combined with her extensive professional experience, has equipped her with a well-rounded understanding of both the hospitality and education sectors.
