Prior to this appointment, Anurag served as a Sous Chef at The Leela Ambience Gurugram Hotel & Residences in Gurugram and at Rambagh Palace in Jaipur. In these roles, he demonstrated exceptional leadership and culinary skills, contributing to the creation of exquisite menus and maintaining high standards of kitchen operations.
Anurag's career journey also includes his tenure as a Junior Sous Chef at Hotel Clarks Amer and Fortune Select Metropolitan in Jaipur, where he honed his culinary techniques and gained valuable experience in kitchen management and team coordination.
His early career saw him rise through the ranks at Hilton Jaipur, starting as a Chef De Partie and later as a Senior Chef De Partie. During his time there, he played a crucial role in menu planning and execution, ensuring guest satisfaction with his culinary creations.
Anurag also held the position of Demi Chef De Partie at Renaissance Lucknow and Marriott Marquis City Center Doha Hotel, where he further developed his culinary skills and gained international exposure.
Starting his career as a Commis, Anurag worked at Renaissance Doha City Center and Courtyard by Marriott in Ahmedabad. These roles provided him with a solid foundation in the fundamentals of cooking and kitchen operations.
Anurag Kumar holds a degree in Hospitality and Hotel Administration from the Institute of Hotel Management (IHM) Ahmedabad. His educational background, combined with his extensive professional experience, equips him with the expertise to excel in his new role.
