Arun Boro has recently joined Westin Hotels & Resorts, bringing with him a wealth of experience and a reputation for culinary excellence. In his new role as Sous Chef, Arun is set to contribute his refined skills and creativity to enhance the dining experience at Westin.
Arun's impressive culinary journey includes roles at some of the finest hospitality brands. Prior to Westin, he served as Junior Sous Chef at Conrad Pune, where he played a pivotal role in crafting exceptional dining experiences. He was also a Chef De Partie during the pre-opening phase of The Leela Palaces, Hotels and Resorts in Bengaluru, showcasing his ability to handle high-stakes culinary operations. Before that, Arun was a Demi Chef De Partie at InterContinental Hotels & Resorts, where he further honed his skills in fine dining.
Arun's earlier career includes positions as a Commis Chef during the pre-opening stages of Vivanta by Taj, Guwahati, and The Ritz-Carlton, Bengaluru. He also worked as a Commis Chef at Royal Orchid Hotels, Bengaluru, gaining valuable foundational experience in the culinary arts.
Arun is a graduate of the Metropolitan School of Hotel Management and completed his schooling through NIOS Institute of Open School. His diverse background and commitment to culinary innovation make him a valuable asset to the Westin culinary team, where he is poised to deliver unforgettable dining experiences.
