Ashish Singh Chandel is thrilled to join his new role as the Executive Corporate Chef at Eight Continents Hotels and Resorts. Bringing with him a wealth of experience and expertise, Ashish is set to make a significant impact on the culinary landscape of the resort. His journey to this prestigious position is marked by a series of impressive roles and accomplishments in the hospitality industry.


In his most recent position as the Executive Chef at Zone by The Park, Ashish honed his skills in kitchen organization, inventory management, and menu planning. His mastery of various food styles, combined with his focus on quality and hygiene, cost optimization, and budget control, contributed to the success of the establishment. Ashish's expertise in fine dining, recipe creation, and food promotions further enhanced the guest experience, while his implementation of HACCP standards ensured the highest levels of food safety and quality.


Prior to his tenure at Zone by The Park, Ashish served as the Culinary Director and Co-founder of Desi Cafe Agra, where he was responsible for the entire management of the cafe. His role involved business management, guest satisfaction, pricing strategy, and budgeting. Ashish's strategic thinking and business-driven approach led to successful product launches and the development of a strong culinary education program. His leadership and teamwork skills were instrumental in fostering a positive work environment and delivering exceptional customer experiences.


Ashish's journey also includes his role as Managing Director at Chhat Cafe Agra, where he excelled in business operations, SOP development, and culinary management. His focus on quality assurance, portion control, and inventory management ensured the smooth running of the cafe. His creative and innovative approach to menu costing and food presentation made Chhat Cafe a popular destination for food enthusiasts.


In addition to his full-time roles, Ashish has also worked as a consultant chef for Culinary Junction by Udupi. His responsibilities included kitchen planning, menu development, staff requirement assessment, and SOP setting. His ability to manage high-volume workloads and deliver exceptional results has made him a sought-after consultant in the industry. He has also played responsible roles of Senior Chef De Partie, Pantry Chef, Demi Chef De Partie and Commi Chef at various establishments.


Ashish holds a Bachelor's of Science in Hotel Management and Catering Technology, where he developed his knowledge and skills of the culinary world.
