Ayatana Resorts Welcomes Julius U. Biswas as Senior Corporate Executive Chef

Julius U. Biswas has recently taken on the role of Senior Executive Chef (Corporate) at Ayatana Resorts in Karnataka, India. In this position, Julius will lead the culinary operations across Ayatana Resorts, ensuring excellence in food quality and guest satisfaction.


Before joining Ayatana Resorts, Julius founded and served as the Managing Director of JB Culinary Solutions Pvt. Ltd., where he provided comprehensive solutions to culinary startups, aiding them in their growth and development.


Previously, Julius was the Executive Chef at Evolve Back Resorts in Hampi. His responsibilities included overseeing the entire food and beverage operation, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations, managing staff recruitment and development, and handling vendor management. His efforts were key in enhancing customer satisfaction through continuous feedback review and team coordination.


Julius also served as the Executive Chef at RVR Sarovar Portico in Dindi, where he managed the food and beverage operations for a variety of dining experiences, including multicuisine restaurants, local cuisine offerings, and large-scale banqueting services.


At Swiggy in Kolkata, Julius worked as the Unit Executive Chef, assisting the Cluster Chef with city operations and overseeing kitchen operations at the unit level. He developed standard operating procedures for various brands, contributing to the consistency and quality of food offerings.


His career also includes a significant tenure as Sous Chef (Chef In-Charge) at Mahindra Holidays & Resorts India Limited in Varca Goa, where he managed the food and beverage production and operations for a large resort with multiple dining venues.


Julius has held various other culinary positions, including Senior Sous Chef at Eldeco Group in Jalandhar, Head Chef at Zuri Hotels & Resorts in Baiguney Sikkim, and Head Chef at MAYFAIR Hotels & Resorts in Darjeeling. His experience spans diverse culinary roles in esteemed establishments such as Grosvenor House Dubai and Le Royal Meridien Beach Resort & Spa, The Vedic Village Resort & SPA, and The Oberoi Grand Kolkata.


Julius holds a Diploma in Hospitality Management from Alison, CPD Certified in London, UK, and a three-year Diploma in Hotel Management from K.I.H.M., recognized under the London College of Management. He completed his higher secondary education in commerce from St. Lawrence High School in Ballygunge, Kolkata, and attended St. Mary’s Orphanage & Day School in Dum Dum, Kolkata.
