Bhaskaran T has been appointed as the Vice President of Operations at MIOT International, Chennai, bringing with him decades of experience in the hospitality industry. Bhaskaran’s strategic insight and management skills are set to enhance operational efficiencies at MIOT International.
Before his appointment at MIOT, Bhaskaran held several senior leadership roles. He served as the General Manager at Le Royal Meridien, Chennai and The Lalit Ashok Bengaluru, where he managed hotel operations with a focus on guest satisfaction, cost control, and process optimization.
His journey in hospitality includes significant experience in room management. Bhaskaran was the Resident Manager and Rooms Division Manager at InterContinental The Lalit Mumbai, where he was responsible for overseeing the room division, enhancing guest experiences, and driving departmental efficiency. He also served as the Director of Rooms at Hyatt Regency Pune, a position where he honed his expertise in managing rooms, ensuring service excellence, and streamlining operations.
Bhaskaran’s earlier roles include being the Rooms Division Manager at Novotel Hyderabad & Hyderabad International Convention Centre, where he managed a large team, coordinated events, and focused on optimizing room revenues. His experience as Front Office Manager at Viceroy Hotel & Convention Centre and Assistant Front Office Manager at The Leela Palaces & Resorts helped him develop a strong foundation in guest services and front office management.
He holds a Diploma in Hotel Management, Catering, and Applied Nutrition from the Institute of Hotel Management Chennai and a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) degree from the University of Calicut, specializing in Accounting and Business Management.
