Chocolate and Gulkand Gujia - By Chef Rohit Anand
Chef Rohit Anand brings a modern twist to tradition with his indulgent Chocolate and Gulkand Gujia, blending rich flavors for a unique festive treat.
Ingredients:
• Maida - 100 Gm
• Desi Ghee - 50 Gm
• Salt - 5 Gm
• Mava - 100 Gm
• Cardamom Powder - 100 Gm
• Dark Chocolate - 80 Gm
• Oil - 100 Ml
• Cream - 50 Gm
• Choco Chips - 50 Gm
• Gulkand - 100 Gm
• Dry Coconut - 10 Gm
• Sugar - 100 Gm
Method:
1. Mix the Maida, Desi Ghee, and Salt to make a Firm Dough.
2. Let it rest for 30 Minutes.
3. In a pan, cook the Mava with Sugar and add Cardamom Powder.
4. Take off the heat and cool, then add choco chips along with Gulkand and dry Coconut.
5. Mix Well.
6. Take a small piece of Dough and roll it well.
7. Cut into smaller pieces, fill with mixture and seal from sides.
8. Deep fry till golden brown and set aside.
9. In a bowl, melt dark Chocolate, then add cream and combine well.
10. Dip the Gujia in chocolate – Cream mix.
11. Serve once cool.
