Rajiv Vatsyayan, an impassioned chef with an insatiable desire to explore culinary finesse across the globe, has assumed the role of Executive Chef at Crowne Plaza Hotels & Resorts in Greater Noida. With a fervent commitment to presenting authentic and historic cuisine at par with modern cookery standards, Rajiv's culinary journey is marked by a relentless pursuit of excellence and a thirst for culinary innovation.


Prior to his current appointment, Rajiv served as Executive Chef at The Indian Hotels Company Limited (IHCL) in North Goa, where he endeavored to showcase the rich culinary heritage of the region while embracing contemporary culinary trends. His tenure at IHCL showcased his ability to blend traditional flavors with modern techniques, resulting in exquisite culinary creations that delighted guests from around the world.


Before his stint at IHCL, Rajiv held the position of Executive Sous Chef at The Oberoi, New Delhi, where he honed his culinary skills and leadership abilities over a span of four years. His role involved overseeing all culinary operations and ensuring the highest standards of quality and service, cementing his reputation as a dynamic and visionary chef in the industry.


Rajiv's culinary odyssey also led him to serve as Executive Chef at SWAN Rajmahal Palace, Jaipur, and as Executive Sous Chef / Head Chef at SUJAN in the Jaipur Area, India. His diverse experiences at these esteemed establishments further enriched his culinary repertoire and fueled his passion for exploring the depths of regional cuisines and culinary traditions.


With over a decade of experience at Oberoi Hotels & Resorts, Rajiv has held various roles, including Junior Sous Chef and Chef de Partie, where he contributed to the success of multiple culinary outlets and played a pivotal role in the pre-opening of new establishments. His journey from a Food Production Assistant at Trident, Gurgaon, to his current role as Executive Chef at Crowne Plaza Hotels & Resorts reflects his unwavering dedication, perseverance, and relentless pursuit of culinary excellence.
