Debraj Das has been appointed as the Executive Chef at Sarovar Hotels & Resorts in Kolkata, bringing his vast culinary expertise and leadership to this esteemed role. With a rich history of culinary excellence and innovative cuisine, Debraj is set to elevate the dining experiences at Sarovar Hotels & Resorts.


Previously, Debraj served as the Executive Chef at Marriott International in Chennai and ITC Hotels in Vadodara. In these roles, he was responsible for leading large culinary teams, developing new menus, and ensuring the highest standards of food quality and service.


Debraj's leadership journey began as the Head Chef at Marriott International, Chennai, where he honed his skills in kitchen management and team coordination. His earlier experience as a Sous Chef at Ramada by Wyndham Bengaluru Yelahanka, further solidified his expertise in managing kitchen operations and maintaining culinary excellence.


His career progression includes significant roles such as Chef De Partie at Aloft Bengaluru Cessna Business Park and Radisson Blu Plaza Hyderabad. These positions allowed him to showcase his culinary creativity and commitment to delivering exceptional dining experiences.


Debraj's foundational experience includes his time as a Demi Chef De Partie at Fortune Park Hotels Ltd., Mysore, and as a Culinary Associate at Courtyard by Marriott, Pune. He began his culinary journey as a Commis at Sayaji Hotels Ltd., Pune, Sarovar Hotels & Resorts, Shirdi, and The Grand Bhagwati, Ahmedabad.


Debraj Das holds a Bachelor of Arts in Fine/Studio Arts from Burdwan University, along with a Diploma in Hospitality Administration/Management from BIHM. His educational background has provided him with a strong foundation in both the artistic and managerial aspects of the culinary field.
