Dev Raj has been appointed as the Executive Chef at Fusion Tadka in Austin, Texas. With a diverse and extensive background in culinary arts and hospitality management, Dev brings a wealth of expertise to his new role, where he will lead the kitchen team, create innovative menus, and ensure an exceptional dining experience for guests.


Before joining Fusion Tadka, Dev served as the Head Chef at the Sports Authority of India in New Delhi. His responsibilities included managing the kitchen operations, developing nutritious menus for athletes, and ensuring high standards of food quality and safety.


Prior to his tenure at the Sports Authority of India, Dev was a Chef Trainer & Auditor for large home projects with Urban Company in Bengaluru. In this role, he trained and audited personal chefs, ensuring they met the company's quality standards and delivered exceptional culinary services to clients.


Dev's experience also includes his role as a Corporate Chef at A-Diet Express Hospitality Service Limited in Chennai, where he oversaw multiple kitchens, developed menu plans, and implemented cost-effective food production strategies.


Additionally, Dev served as a Chef Trainer & Auditor for the cloud kitchen business at OYO, focusing on training kitchen staff and auditing kitchen operations to maintain high food safety and quality standards.


Earlier in his career, Dev held the position of Head Chef at India Retails & Hospitality Private Limited at IGI New Delhi, where he managed kitchen operations and curated menus for various food outlets.


Dev also worked as an Indian Chef at North16 Goa, TABLEZ - The Food Company in Abu Dhabi, and Taurus Sarovar Portico Airport in New Delhi. In these roles, he specialized in Indian cuisine, delivering authentic and innovative dishes to diverse clientele.


His early culinary journey included roles as a Commis Chef at QCR, Macs Hospitality Pvt. Ltd. in New Delhi, and Lite Bite Foods Pvt. Ltd. in Gurugram, where he honed his skills in food preparation and kitchen management.


Dev began his culinary career with vocational and industrial training apprenticeships at The Park Hotels in New Delhi, Barista Coffee Company Limited in Gurugram, and The Metropolitan Hotel in New Delhi, gaining foundational experience in various aspects of kitchen operations and hospitality service.


Dev Raj holds a Bachelor of Science in Hotel/Motel Administration/Management from the Institute of Hotel Management and Catering Technology and Applied Nutrition in Gwalior. He also completed his 12th Commerce education at A.B.P.S Khalsa, providing him with a solid educational foundation in both culinary arts and business management.


With his extensive experience and strong background in culinary management, Dev Raj is well-equipped to excel in his new role as Executive Chef at Fusion Tadka, contributing to the restaurant's success and culinary innovation.
