Dharmendra Raja Promoted to Chief Operating Officer at Gilly’s Chain of Restobars

Dharmendra Raja has recently been appointed as the Chief Operating Officer (COO) at Gilly’s, Bengaluru’s iconic chain of restobars. With an extensive background in operations management and a proven track record of strategic leadership, Dharmendra brings a wealth of expertise to his new role.

Prior to his current position, Dharmendra served as the General Manager - Sales and Operations at Gilly’s Chain of Restobars in Bengaluru, where he was responsible for overseeing sales and operational efficiency across the organization. His adept management helped Gilly’s thrive, evolving from its humble beginnings 12 years ago to a flagship brand with 14 thriving outlets across Bengaluru.

Before his tenure at Gilly’s, Dharmendra held the role of General Manager Operations and Sales at GAG Associates, contributing significantly to the company's growth and operational excellence. 

Dharmendra's career includes significant roles such as General Manager - Bengaluru Operations and All India Merchandising at HM Leisure, where he managed extensive operations and merchandising activities, ensuring smooth and efficient processes across multiple locations. Additionally, he served as General Manager, Bengaluru Operations - Entertainment, Gaming, Retail, Hospitality, and Facilities at Amoeba HM Group, demonstrating his versatility and capability in handling diverse operational challenges. Earlier in his career, Dharmendra was the Deputy General Manager - TOYS at Kempfort, Toyskemp, where he gained valuable experience in managing retail operations and merchandising.

Dharmendra holds a degree in B.Com (Hons.) from Magadh University, a diploma from KSBM, Pune, and has studied Physics, Chemistry, Maths, and Electronics at Christ University, Bengaluru. He completed his high school education at St. Joseph’s Indian High School, Bengaluru.
