Divyansh Kumar Joins WelcomHotel, Chennai as Executive Housekeeper

Divyansh Kumar recently assumed the role of Executive Housekeeper at WelcomHotel by ITC Hotels, Cathedral Road in Chennai, bringing with him a wealth of experience and expertise in hotel operations and management. With a career spanning several prestigious establishments, Divyansh has consistently demonstrated his proficiency in maintaining impeccable housekeeping standards and enhancing guest satisfaction.

Prior to joining ITC Hotels, Divyansh served as the Assistant Manager-Housekeeping at Taj Dubai, part of The Indian Hotels Company Limited (IHCL). During his tenure, he played a key role in ensuring the cleanliness and upkeep of the property, contributing to its reputation as a luxurious destination for guests. His stint at Taj Dubai provided him with valuable insights into the nuances of hospitality management in a dynamic and cosmopolitan environment.

Before his role at Taj Dubai, Divyansh held positions at Radisson Hotel Group, where he honed his skills in housekeeping management. As the Assistant Manager-Housekeeping at Radisson Blu Hotel GRT Chennai, he was part of the pre-opening task force, responsible for setting up housekeeping operations and establishing standard operating procedures. He later moved to Radisson Bengaluru City Center, where he continued to excel in his role, overseeing the cleanliness and hygiene standards of the property.

Divyansh's journey in the hospitality industry began with the Young Leader Programme at GRT Hotels & Resorts in Bengaluru, where he gained valuable hands-on experience and developed a strong foundation in hotel management. His passion for hospitality led him to pursue a Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Administration/Management from the Institute of Hotel Management Catering Technology and Applied Nutrition in Chennai.

Before embarking on his professional journey, Divyansh completed his intermediate education at Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya in Gopalganj, where he cultivated a strong academic foundation and a spirit of curiosity and learning.

With his diverse background and hands-on experience in hotel operations and management, Divyansh Kumar is well-equipped to lead the housekeeping team at ITC Hotels' WelcomHotel Cathedral Road in Chennai and uphold the brand's commitment to excellence in hospitality.
