Dr. Chef Dhiraj Pathak has recently been appointed as Principal at NITTE University in Mangalore. With an extensive academic background and a rich career in the hospitality and culinary education sectors, Dr. Pathak is set to bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to Nitte University.
Prior to this role, Dr. Pathak served as the Associate Professor cum Head of Department (HOD) at GNA University in Phagwara, where he led the department with distinction, contributing significantly to the academic and administrative success of the institution.
Before his tenure at GNA University, Dr. Pathak was the Assistant Professor cum Programme Incharge at GNA Institute of Management & Technology (GNAIMT), where he was responsible for overseeing the programme and ensuring high-quality education delivery.
Dr. Pathak's career in academia began with his role as a Lecturer in Food Production at the International Institute of Hotel Management in New Delhi. He initially took on a lecturing position at the Asia Pacific Institute of Management, further solidifying his expertise in culinary education and hospitality management.
His academic journey is marked by a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Business Management and Commerce from GNA University. He also holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Sikkim Manipal University - Distance Education and a Bachelor of Science in Hotel Management and Catering Technology (BSC HMCT) from IHM Bhubaneswar.
