Gaurav Dureja Joins Hyatt Regency Delhi as Sous Chef at La Piazza

Hyatt Regency Delhi welcomes Gaurav Dureja as the new Sous Chef at its celebrated Italian dining destination, La Piazza. Known for its authentic Italian cuisine and award-winning reputation, La Piazza has been a benchmark for fine dining in Delhi since its inception in 1994.  

Gaurav Dureja brings a wealth of culinary expertise to his new role, backed by his experience in leading kitchens at globally recognized luxury establishments. His journey includes prestigious stints at One Za’abeel & SIRO, a pre-opening property under One&Only Resorts in Dubai, where he led operations for a dynamic dining experience with Michelin-starred chefs, and JW Marriott New Delhi, where he excelled in the Italian Kitchen at the award-winning K3 Restaurant.  

In his new position, Gaurav aims to elevate La Piazza’s legacy of excellence by curating innovative Italian menus while preserving the authenticity the restaurant is renowned for. His expertise in menu engineering, team leadership, and culinary management is set to enhance guest experiences and uphold the standards that have made La Piazza a favorite among locals and travelers alike.
