HPMF Convention and Awards 2024: Catalyzing UP's Growth Through Global Hospitality and Ecotourism

The Hospitality Purchasing Managers’ Forum (HPMF) is advancing Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath's vision by hosting Uttar Pradesh's largest hospitality event, bringing together participants from 8 countries and 40 Indian cities.

This prestigious event, set to take place in Lucknow and Ayodhya Dham in September 2024, will gather prominent figures, including royalty from various Indian regions, owners of international five-star hotel chains, and representatives from over 200 billion-dollar enterprises.

Founded in 2010, HPMF has evolved into a global organization with over 6,000 members from the hospitality purchasing community. Headquartered in Mumbai, HPMF has established chapters across all regions of India and internationally in Sri Lanka, the Maldives, the Middle East, Nepal, Bhutan, Bangladesh, and the UK.

The 14th-anniversary celebration from September 26th to 29th, 2024, will emphasize Ease of Doing Business in Hospitality and focus on ecotourism and education, attracting significant investors to Uttar Pradesh and significantly contributing to the Chief Minister’s vision of making UP a global ecotourism hub. Previous events in Cochin, Varanasi, Jodhpur, Bhubaneswar, and Mumbai have been outstanding, with the 2019 event in Cochin drawing nationwide attention and featuring over 350 members, press, and prominent corporate figures.

This year’s event in Lucknow and Ayodhya Dham will merge business with a cultural journey through the rich heritage of Shri Ram's city and the renowned Nawabi “Tehzeeb.” Dr. Nitin Shankar Nagrale, Founder and General Secretary of HPMF, states, “Participants will embark on a magical journey experiencing the life of Parampurush Shri Ram and the rich heritage of Awadh through cultural shows, cuisine, historical tours, and displays of ancient crafts.” The event will also feature presentations from industry experts, corporate speakers, and B2B meetings with over 40 vendors, making it a hub of intense discussions and networking.

A highlight of the event will be the 12th annual Procurement Excellence Awards, introduced in 2012. These awards, eagerly anticipated by delegates and vendors, honor excellence in the industry with a spectacular show that enhances their prestige. This year, HPMF will also recognize vendors for their contributions to the hospitality industry and the procurement community.

The event's global significance will be further amplified by the coverage of 28 world-famous journalists, who will report on the international impact of hospitality, tourism, and education, bringing global attention to Uttar Pradesh's progress in these sectors.

Additionally, the HPMF Convention will honor 14 esteemed Women Achievers for their unwavering courage and significant contributions to India's growth story. Their sacrifices and dedication have paved the way for the recognition we enjoy today, and this event will serve as a heartfelt tribute to their enduring legacy.
