Kshitiz Shekhar Promoted to Corporate Executive Chef at Sarovar Hotels & Resorts, Mumbai

Kshitiz Shekhar has been promoted to the role of Corporate Executive Chef at Sarovar Hotels & Resorts in Mumbai. This elevation follows his impressive tenure as the Director of Culinary and previously as an Executive Chef within the same organization.

Kshitiz brings a wealth of culinary expertise and leadership experience to his new role. Prior to his association with Sarovar Hotels & Resorts, he served as an Executive Sous Chef at InterContinental Hotels Group, where he honed his skills in high-volume kitchen management and innovative menu development.

His journey in the culinary world also includes significant stints at Hotel Sahara Star in Mumbai, where he worked as a Chef De Cuisine and earlier as a Sous Chef. Here, he was instrumental in creating and executing exquisite culinary experiences that enhanced the hotel's reputation.

Kshitiz's international experience includes his time at Sheraton Hotels & Resorts in the United States, where he served as a Sous Chef and Supervisor, gaining valuable insights into global hospitality standards and operations.

Earlier in his career, Kshitiz worked with ITC Hotels in Mumbai, starting as a Kitchen Executive Trainee and advancing to the role of Chef De Partie. This foundational period provided him with a solid grounding in culinary techniques and kitchen management.

Kshitiz is an alumnus of IHM Bhubaneswar, where he earned his Bachelor's degree in Restaurant, Culinary, and Catering Management. He completed his earlier education at Bihar National College and DAV Public School Patna.
