Kumar Gaurav Takes the Role of Soft Service Manager - HOD at JLL India
His diverse experience in hospitality operations and housekeeping management is expected to contribute to his success in this new role.
Kumar Gaurav has been appointed as the Soft Service Manager - Head of Department (HOD) at JLL India. Bringing extensive experience from the hospitality industry, Kumar's journey is a testament to his dedication and expertise in housekeeping and operations management, making him a valuable addition to the JLL India team.
Before joining JLL India, Kumar worked as the Assistant Manager - Operations (Soft Services) at Encalm Hospitality Pvt. Ltd. in New Delhi, where he honed his skills in managing operations efficiently, ensuring high standards of customer service, and maintaining smooth soft service operations. His time there solidified his leadership abilities, which he now brings to his new role at JLL.
Prior to this, Kumar was Assistant Manager - Housekeeping at Le Meridien Hotels & Resorts in Gurugram, where he managed a team and ensured the highest level of cleanliness and guest satisfaction. His experience here laid the groundwork for his expertise in housekeeping management.
Kumar's career also saw him serving as a Team Leader and later as a Housekeeping Executive at The St. Regis Mumbai. His contributions there helped maintain the hotel's high reputation for hospitality. His tenure as a Team Leader in Housekeeping at Hyatt Regency Gurugram, and later at Accor’s Novotel Imagica, where he led Accommodation Operations, further demonstrated his ability to manage large teams and deliver excellent service.
He began his career as an Associate in Housekeeping at Hyatt Pune, where he developed a strong foundation in operations. His early roles at Novotel Ahmedabad as a Guest Service Associate also added to his broad experience in guest-facing roles and accommodation operations.
Kumar holds a BSc. in Hospitality & Hotel Administration with a specialization in Accommodation Operations from the Institute of Hotel Management, Hajipur. This educational background, coupled with his practical experiences, has equipped him with a strong understanding of the industry.
In his new position at JLL India, Kumar Gaurav will lead the soft services department, ensuring the highest standards of operational efficiency and service quality for clients.
