Lakshmanan Ramanathan embarks on an exciting new journey as he takes on the role of General Manager at Marriott International Renaissance Dhaka Gulshan Hotel. With a distinguished career spanning over two decades in the hospitality industry, Ramanathan brings a wealth of experience and expertise to his new position.


Ramanathan's educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Hotel Management & Catering Sciences from Madurai Kamaraj University, where he laid the foundation for his successful career in hospitality.


His journey in the industry began at Oberoi Hotels & Resorts, where he served as a Housekeeper at Jaipur - Rajvilas for a year and six months, honing his skills in housekeeping operations and guest services.


Following his tenure at Oberoi Hotels & Resorts, Ramanathan joined ITC Hotels as a Guest Services Valet at Mumbai's Grand Maratha property, where he further refined his customer service skills and attention to detail.


Ramanathan's association with Marriott International commenced with his appointment as General Manager at Courtyard by Marriott Kochi Airport in Kochi, Kerala, where he served for three years. During his tenure, he played a pivotal role in enhancing the hotel's operational efficiency and guest satisfaction.


His leadership abilities and strategic vision were further showcased during his six-year and eleven-month tenure as General Manager at The Westin Chennai Velachary, where he oversaw all aspects of hotel operations, including revenue management, guest experience, and team development.


Now, as he assumes the role of General Manager at Renaissance Dhaka Gulshan Hotel, Ramanathan is poised to lead the hotel to new heights of success. His extensive experience, coupled with his dedication to excellence and innovation, makes him well-equipped to drive operational excellence and deliver exceptional guest experiences at one of Dhaka's premier luxury hotels.
