Malay Das Takes Charge as Assistant Executive Housekeeper at Fairmont Hotels & Resorts

Fairmont Hotels & Resorts, Udaipur is proud to announce the appointment of Malay Das as the new Assistant Executive Housekeeper. Malay brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in housekeeping management, with an impressive career trajectory in some of the most prestigious hotels in India.

Before joining Fairmont, Malay served as Deputy Housekeeper at St. Regis Hotels & Resorts, Mumbai, where he played a key role in maintaining the high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction. Prior to that, he was the Assistant Executive Housekeeper at ITC Maratha, Mumbai, where he was responsible for managing a large team and ensuring operational excellence in housekeeping services.

Malay also brings valuable experience from his time as an Assistant Housekeeping Manager at Taj Hotels, where he worked in both Mumbai and Goa. His career in hospitality began with an internship at Taj Hotels Palaces Resorts Safaris, Mumbai, where he gained practical insights into hotel operations.

Malay holds a B.Sc. in Hospitality and Hotel Administration from the Institute of Hotel Management, Catering Technology, and Applied Nutrition, Mumbai. His academic background, combined with his extensive professional experience, makes him a valuable asset to the Fairmont Udaipur team.

In his new role, Malay will be responsible for overseeing housekeeping operations, maintaining the hotel's luxury standards, and ensuring an exceptional guest experience. His leadership and dedication to excellence are expected to elevate the housekeeping services at Fairmont Hotels & Resorts, Udaipur to new heights.
