Melwin Reuben has recently assumed the role of General Manager Sales & Marketing for Weber Barbecue Products at Bhawar Group, Bengaluru. Bringing a wealth of experience and a strong background in culinary and hospitality management, Melwin is set to drive sales strategies, marketing initiatives, and overall brand growth for Weber Barbecue Products.

A seasoned chef by profession, Melwin Reuben has cultivated a robust career in the culinary and food service sectors. His extensive background and hands-on experience in various facets of the industry make him uniquely qualified to lead Weber's sales and marketing initiatives in India. Before his current position, Melwin served as the Executive Chef & Training Manager at Crompton Greaves Consumer Electricals Limited, Bengaluru, where he managed culinary training and led kitchen operations, ensuring high standards of food quality and customer satisfaction.

Melwin’s career also includes significant roles at Weber Stephen Products India under Bhawar Group. He started as a Digital Media Coordinator and later took on responsibilities in Specialty & B2B Sales across India and Sri Lanka, along with being a Brand and Training Manager. His contributions in these roles were instrumental in enhancing the brand's presence and operational efficiency.

Previously, Melwin held the positions of Head Chef in Bengaluru and later transitioned to Brand and Training Manager in New Delhi at Weber Stephen Products. His tenure at Mango Mist Resorts in Bengaluru as a consultant saw him providing strategic insights and operational improvements, showcasing his versatility and expertise.

His foundational experience includes working as a Management Trainee at Yum! Brands, Bengaluru, a Food Specialist at Natures Basket Limited, Bengaluru, and a Manpower Consultant at Spark Plugged Solutions, Bengaluru. Each of these roles has contributed to his well-rounded skill set in the hospitality industry.

Melwin’s journey began as an Industrial Trainee at Taj Hotels Palaces Resorts Safaris, Bengaluru, and a Call Center Agent at C Cubed Solutions Pvt. Ltd., Bengaluru. These early experiences honed his communication and customer service skills, laying the groundwork for his future success.

Melwin Reuben holds a Bachelor’s degree in Hotel Management, specializing in Food Preparation/Professional Cooking/Kitchen Assistant, from Christ University, Bengaluru. This educational background has equipped him with a solid foundation in hospitality management and culinary arts.
