Mohammed Eliyaz has taken on the prestigious role of Executive Chef at Conrad Bengaluru, bringing with him an extensive background in culinary arts and a proven track record of excellence in various esteemed hospitality establishments.
Before his current appointment, Mohammed served as Group Research and Development Chef at Cinnamon Group in Malaysia. In this role, he was responsible for innovating and developing new culinary concepts, ensuring that the group’s offerings remained at the forefront of the industry.
Prior to his tenure at Cinnamon Group, Mohammed was the Executive Sous Chef at The Leela Bhartiya City Bengaluru Hotel Conventions Residences. Here, he played a crucial role in managing the kitchen operations and ensuring the delivery of high-quality culinary experiences.
Mohammed also held the position of Chef De Cuisine at JW Marriott in Bengaluru, where he was instrumental in curating and executing a diverse menu that met the high standards of the JW Marriott brand. His leadership and culinary expertise significantly contributed to the restaurant's success.
His career includes valuable experience as a Sous Chef at Hyatt Regency in New Delhi and as a Kitchen Executive at ITC Hotels. Additionally, Mohammed worked as a Kitchen Supervisor at Oberoi Hotels & Resorts, where he further developed his skills in managing kitchen staff and operations.
Mohammed Eliyaz's educational background includes a degree from IHM Meerut in Hotel/Motel Administration/Management and early education at Kendriya Vidyalaya.
