Muniraj R has been appointed as Vice President Procurement & Contracts at MRG Group, Bengaluru. Before rejoining MRG Group, Muniraj held the position of Associate Vice President Procurement at The Leela Palaces, Hotels and Resorts in Mumbai. In this capacity, he was responsible for overseeing the procurement operations across multiple properties, ensuring cost-effective sourcing and maintaining the highest standards of quality. His strategic approach and strong negotiation skills contributed significantly to the organization's success.

Prior to his tenure at The Leela, Muniraj served as Vice President Procurement at MRG Group, Bengaluru. Before his promotion to Vice President, he excelled as General Manager - Procurement, demonstrating his capability in managing large-scale procurement activities and fostering strong vendor relationships.

Muniraj's career began as a Purchase Officer at Apeejay Surrendra Group in Bengaluru, where he gained foundational experience in procurement processes and supplier management. He then advanced to the role of Manager Purchase at Global Franchise Architects, also in Bengaluru, where he further honed his skills in strategic sourcing and inventory management.

Following this, he served as Purchase Manager at The Pride Hotels, Bengaluru, where he successfully streamlined procurement operations and ensured timely delivery of high-quality materials. His exceptional performance led to his appointment as Corporate Procurement Manager at Royal Orchid Hotels, Bengaluru, where he managed procurement activities for multiple properties and contributed to significant cost reductions.

Muniraj's expertise in procurement was further solidified during his tenure as GM - Procurement at Prestige Group, Bengaluru. In this role, he implemented innovative procurement strategies, optimized supplier networks, and played a pivotal role in the successful execution of various high-value projects.
