Chilli Chicken is a flavorful dish that brings together the bold spices of
Mysore cuisine with the kick of chilli chicken. Naati chicken, known for its
distinct taste and texture, is a free-range or country chicken, making this
dish even more special.
Ingredients:
1. Oil - 5 spoons
2. Ginger Garlic Paste - 3 spoons
3. Chopped Onion - ½ cup
4. Crushed Green Chilli - 12-14 Nos.
5. Chicken (Naati or Country
Chicken Preferred) - 500 gms
6. Pepper Powder - 2 spoons
7. Soya Sauce - 3 spoons
8. Turmeric Powder - 1 spoon
9. Salt - To Taste
10. Water - 200 ml
11. Corn Slurry (thickening agent) - 3 spoons (Cornflour mixed with a little water)
12. Coriander Leaves - For Garnish
Procedure:
Add oil and heat it. Add ginger garlic paste, sauté it for 30 seconds, and then add chopped onion and sauté until golden brown. Add crushed green chilli, pepper powder, soy sauce, and chicken. Sauté for 3-4 minutes. Add water and let it boil, then add turmeric powder and salt. Once the chicken is cooked, add the corn slurry and garnish with coriander leaves. Serve hot.
