Naresh Kumar Promoted to Events Manager at W Goa

W Goa has announced the promotion of Naresh Kumar to Events Manager, recognizing his exceptional dedication and expertise within the hospitality and events industry. Naresh has been an integral part of W Goa, where he previously served as Assistant Events Manager. His journey with Marriott International has been marked by his commitment to delivering high-quality service and seamless event experiences.

Naresh’s career began with foundational roles in food and beverage, starting as a Food and Beverage Associate with Marriott International in Pune. He further honed his skills at Sandal Suites operated by Lemon Tree Hotels, progressing from Food and Beverage Executive to Assistant Manager in Food and Beverage Service. His cross-department exposure in food and beverage laid the groundwork for his eventual transition into events management. During this period, he also undertook an Assistant Events Manager role through cross exposure at Marriott, where he further strengthened his operational and management capabilities in the events sector.

His hospitality training began at the Hotel and Catering Management Institute, where he obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Hotel Management (BHM). This educational background, combined with his diverse professional experience, has enabled him to bring a multi-faceted approach to his roles. 

With this promotion to Events Manager at W Goa, Naresh is set to lead the team in creating memorable, high-quality event experiences that align with the distinctive, vibrant spirit of the W brand. His extensive background in food, beverage, and events management ensures that W Goa will continue delivering remarkable guest experiences under his guidance.
