Mahindra Holidays & Resorts India Limited, Mysore, is pleased to announce the appointment of Raja Ganguly as the new Executive Chef. Raja brings an extensive culinary background and leadership experience from various esteemed hospitality establishments across India.
Before joining Mahindra Holidays, Raja served as Executive Chef at several renowned properties, including The Fern Hotels & Resorts, Hotel South Avenue in Indore, and Golden Landmark Resort in Karnataka. His expertise in overseeing kitchen operations and developing innovative menus has earned him a reputation for excellence in the culinary world. He also held the position of Head Chef at Dee Landmark Hotel, Rewa, and prior to that, worked as Sous Chef at Hotel Maple Leaf, Lucknow.
Raja’s career journey began in the kitchens of Gemini Continental, Lucknow, where he worked as a Commi 1st and Industrial Trainee. He later advanced to roles such as Chef De Partie at Inn Chennai Hotel and Senior Chef De Partie at Wind Flower Resort & Spa and GRT Hotel and Resort, Pondicherry. With his versatile experience and dedication, he has successfully transitioned through various leadership roles in the culinary field.
Raja holds a Bachelor of Arts from Chhatrapati Sahuji Maharaj Kanpur University and a Diploma in Catering, Restaurant, Culinary, and Catering Management from the Government Food and Science Centre, Kanpur.
In his new role, Raja will be responsible for enhancing the culinary offerings at Mahindra Holidays & Resorts, Mysore, through his innovative approach to food and a deep understanding of regional and global cuisines. His leadership in the kitchen is expected to create memorable dining experiences for guests, further elevating the resort’s reputation in the hospitality industry.
