Ravi Rawat Assumes Role as Sheraton Grand Bengaluru Whitefield as Assistant Pastry Chef

Ravi Rawat has been appointed as the Assistant Pastry Chef at the prestigious Sheraton Grand Bengaluru Whitefield Hotel & Convention Center, bringing a wealth of experience in the pastry and bakery arts to his new role. With a career that spans some of the most well-regarded hospitality brands, Ravi's expertise in crafting delightful pastries and desserts is expected to enhance the hotel’s culinary offerings.


Prior to joining Sheraton, Ravi served as a Sous Chef at Grand Hyatt Kochi Bolgatty, where he was instrumental in leading the pastry kitchen and curating innovative desserts that delighted guests. His time at Grand Hyatt Kochi was preceded by his role as Chef De Partie at both Grand Hyatt, Kochi and The Westin Mindspace, Hyderabad, where he further refined his culinary skills and demonstrated leadership in bakery operations.


Ravi's early career includes positions as a Demi Chef De Partie at Aloft Hotels, Bengaluru, and a Commis in Bakery at Marriott Hotels, Kochi, where he rose from an Associate in Bakery. His dedication and passion for the art of baking were evident as he worked his way up the ranks, consistently delivering high-quality baked goods and desserts.


He began his journey in the hospitality industry as an Industrial Trainee at The Suryaa New Delhi, gaining foundational knowledge and experience in the intricacies of hotel kitchen operations.


Ravi holds a BSc in Hotel & Tourism Management from Jagannath International Management School, where he honed his academic understanding of hotel administration and management, complementing his hands-on experience in the culinary field. His education, coupled with his vast industry experience, makes him a well-rounded professional in the bakery and pastry domain.


With his extensive background and expertise, Ravi Rawat is expected to elevate the dessert and pastry offerings at Sheraton Grand Bengaluru Whitefield Hotel & Convention Center, making a significant impact on its culinary excellence.
