Rohan Malwankar Assumes Role as Executive Chef at Marriott International

Rohan Malwankar has been appointed as the Executive Chef at Marriott International, bringing his extensive culinary expertise and leadership to this prestigious role. With a career spanning several esteemed properties within the Marriott group, Rohan is set to enhance the culinary offerings and elevate the dining experience at Marriott International.

Prior to this role, Rohan served as the Executive Chef at Courtyard by Marriott, where he was instrumental in curating innovative menus and leading the kitchen team to deliver exceptional culinary experiences.

Before his tenure at Courtyard by Marriott, Rohan was the Executive Sous Chef at The Westin Hyderabad Mindspace. In this role, he played a key part in managing the kitchen operations and maintaining high standards of food quality and service.

Rohan's culinary journey also includes his time as Chef De Cuisine at The St. Regis Mumbai, where he was promoted from his previous position as Sous Chef. His responsibilities included overseeing the kitchen operations and developing new and exciting dishes.

At JW Marriott Hotel Mumbai, Rohan worked as a Sous Chef, further honing his skills and contributing to the hotel's culinary success.

Rohan's early career saw him as a Junior Sous Chef at Marriott International in Bengaluru, a Chef De Partie at Marriott Hotel, and a Demi Chef De Partie at Grand Hyatt Mumbai. His foundational experience as a Chef at JW Marriott provided him with a strong base in culinary arts and kitchen management.

Rohan Malwankar holds a Bachelor's Degree in Communication and Media Studies from St. Lawrence High School. His diverse educational background complements his culinary expertise, allowing him to bring a unique perspective to his role as Executive Chef.
