Elior India has appointed Salman Khan as Assistant Manager – Operations & Bidding. In his new role, he is set to leverage his extensive experience in operations management, bidding, and compliance to enhance the company’s operational efficiency and strategic bidding processes.
With over a decade in the hospitality and food service industry, Salman brings a versatile skill set encompassing operations management, culinary operations, legal and environmental compliance, HSEQ standards, and team training. His proven expertise in handling complex projects, combined with a commitment to excellence, makes him an invaluable asset to Elior India’s mission of delivering top-tier food and service solutions.
Prior to joining Elior India, Salman held key positions at Compass Group India, where he served as Café Manager and Assistant Café Manager, overseeing customer satisfaction, performance appraisals, and health and safety compliance. His career also includes a tenure at Roseate Hotels & Resorts as Food and Beverage Executive, where he gained valuable insights into guest relations and beverage service, further complemented by international certification from the International Tequila Academy, Mexico.
Salman holds a Master’s degree in Hotel Management from Uttarakhand Open University and certifications in Hospitality and Leadership Management from AHLEI. His academic background is enriched by practical exposure through roles at Jaypee Hotels & Resorts, The Oberoi Gurgaon, and industrial training at Hotel Mount View, Chandigarh.
