Santu Biswas Appointed as Key Account Manager - West at Tropilite Foods

Santu Biswas has been appointed as the Key Account Manager - West at Tropilite Foods, marking a new chapter in his successful career in the food and beverage industry. Based in Mumbai, Maharashtra, his new role at Tropilite Foods involves overseeing key accounts, focusing on client management, and driving business growth.

Before joining Tropilite Foods, Santu served as an Area Sales Manager at Allana Group for over two years, where he played a pivotal role in market expansion and operational efficiency. His efforts were directed toward increasing market share, growing the NDWT category at improved margins, and driving topline growth. Santu also focused on customer engagement and creating a secondary database for customer segmentation, reflecting his strategic approach to sales and market intelligence.

Santu’s career trajectory includes his tenure at General Mills, where he served as a Key Account Executive and a Territory Sales Executive. In these roles, he was responsible for promoting concept selling through premixes to bakeries and outlets, while consistently achieving business targets across his territory. His experience in data management, customer engagement, and market insights was crucial to extending product distribution and ensuring volume sales.

Earlier, Santu worked at Coffee Day Group as a Territory Manager, where he specialized in corporate sales for the SME segment. He excelled in mapping and conversion, market intelligence, and managing distributor relations, contributing to the overall growth of the company’s sales operations.

Santu holds a PGDM in Marketing and Finance from Balaji Institute of Technology & Management, Pune, where he was actively involved in central project teams and student councils. He also completed a Bachelor of Business Management (BBM) in Accounting and Finance from TSR & TBK Degree College.

In his new position at Tropilite Foods, Santu is expected to leverage his extensive experience in key account management, sales strategy, and customer engagement to further strengthen the company’s presence in the western region.
